Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa is a highly respected yoga guru (teacher) coming in a long line of authentic spiritual masters in the ancient Vedic tradition known as Vaishnavism. He is the founder of the Science of Identity Foundation and has expertly taught students all over the world in the science of yoga. Many serious individuals inspired by Jagad Guru have now taken on the role of teachers to assist him in spreading yoga wisdom.
As a long-time proponent of nonsectarianism, Jagad Guru has worked in union with other Vaishnava acharyas (teachers), including Puri Maharaj, Paramadvaiti Maharaj, B.B Tirtha Maharaj, and others to establish the World Vaishnava Association, an umbrella organization composed of more than 30 different Vaishnava missions around the world.
Vaishnavas recognize that despite the various ways and methods that different acharyas teach, the apex of perfect yoga, and the ultimate goal of the human form of life, is the achievement of pure bhakti, or spiritual love. Yoga can be simply compared to a ladder. The lowest rung is yoga asanas and the highest rung—the culmination and definition of yoga—is perfect spiritual love.

Madhvacharya took diksha at age five, sannyasa at twelve and left home. He appeared with a mission to fight and defeat Sankara's Mayavada (impersonal) philosophy. Shri Madhvacharya appeared in A.D. near Udupi, Karnataka in South India. He was considered an incarnation of Vayu (wind god). He had an unusually strong physique and extraordinary intellectual power. Once a fierce Bengali tiger attacked Madhvacharya's sannyasa disciple, Satya Tirtha. Madhvacharya wrestled the tiger and sent him away with his tail between his legs. ಮಧ್ವಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ವಿಚಾರಧಾರೆಗಳು ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು. ವೇದಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪುರಾಣಗಳ ಯುಗಗಳ ನಂತರ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬೀರಿದ ತತ್ವಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ತ್ರಿಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ವಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಮೂರನೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಆರಂಭಿಕ ಜೀವನ
ಮಧ್ವಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಕ್ರಿ.ಶ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಇವರು ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ತಂದೆಯ ಹೆಸರು ನದ್ದಂತಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಯಿ ವೇದಾವತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬವು ವೈಷ್ಣವ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರ ಮೊದಲ ಹೆಸರು ವಾಸುದೇವ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು ಮತ್ತು ನಂತರ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಜನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಮಧ್ವಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧರಾದರು. ಏಳನೇ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರ ಪೋಷಕರು ಉಪನಯನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಮತ್ತು ಹದಿಹರೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸನ್ಯಾಸಿಯಾದರು. ಅವರು ಹಿಂದೂ ಮಹಾಕಾವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಓದುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದೂ ಉಪನಿಷತ್ತುಗಳ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಗುಜರಾತಿನ ದ್ವಾರಕಾಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಚ್ಯುತ್ರಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಗುರುವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಚ್ಯುತ್ರಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಅದ್ವೈತ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪನಿಷತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

AchArya madhva explained that gender is the property of the jIva and not the gross body. The sthUla sharIra is jaDa which gets discarded and destroyed periodically. And jaDa cannot have attributes like gender. Therefore gender is the attribute of the cleared a lot of confusions present in charya said that every sAtvika soul is eligible for mOkSha including women and shUdras. There was (still is) this misconception that a jIva has to be born only as a brahmin male to perform sAdhane for mOkSha. Women, shUdras and vaishyas were considered nIcha yOnayaH unfit for mOkSha sAdhane.
