OAKLAND -- About people packed
the pews and spilled into the aisles of St. Leo's Catholic Church on Wednesday

Family, friends and colleagues expressed
sadness at the passing of Fancher, 53, but also offered uplifting tributes about
the way she committed herself to helping others with breast cancer -- even while
the disease was killing her.
''It was a wonderful experience
to know her,'' said the Rev. John O'Leary, the chaplain at Alta Bates Medical
Center in Berkeley, ''and to be humbled by the hope and faith of Faith.
''Nobody was better named.''
Fancher, a native of Tennessee,

It left everyone stunned; I wrote about it and it still generates both intrigue and questions as to what triggered it.
I have repeatedly asked several KTVU sources over the years; many of whom who knew Corral well what was the reason(s) behind her sudden departure and they swear to me they have no idea. Corral (now, Elaine Kendall) offered a reason that many sources say was a ruse: to pursue an acting career.
"Bull," says a long time friend who asked for anonymity.
